About This Item

London, United Kingdom: Jonathan Cape, 1924. FIRST EDITION - FIRST IMPRESSION Inscribed by the author to the front free end paper. The inscription is to the author C. Henry Warren and has his book-plate to the front pastedown. Provenance; came from the collection of Jonathan Gili (1943-2004, film-maker and director). First Printing. Bumped to the corners and spine ends, slightly chipped spine label, foxed to the first and last few pages. Book sits solid and square with all pages well bound. Minor overall signs of wear and handling commensurate with age, but a very good copy. A NICE EXAMPLE OF A SCARCE SIGNED PRESENTATION COPY WITH VERY INTERESTING ASSOCIATIONS !. Signed by Author. First Edition. Very Good. FIRST IMPRESSION.
