Gray boards with blue cloth overlay on the spine with bright silver lettering on the spine. 269 pp 8vo. It was a storybook affair- Joe, the great baseball star, and Marilyn, the great movie star. They were in love but solitude and nature could not compete with the dazzle and Hollywood life required of Marilyn so they divorced only to become stalwart friends. He tried to save her from Hollywood but could not but had his revenge by planning her funeral without any of the Hollywood types he felt had killed her. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
