Doran, New York (under the title The Little Warrior), and in the U.K. by Herbert Jenkins, London, on July 4 1921. It was serialised in Collier's Weekly in the U.S. , Maclean's in Canada, and Grand magazine in the UK, all in 1920. The heroine here, Jill Mariner, is a young woman from the lower end of the upper class.
