Volume itself has red and black covers with gilt lettering on the spine. 440 pages, including an index, a monumental work. Interior of book is clean & binding is tight with just a touch of wear at the head and tail of the spine. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality Brodart cover. DJ has some wear and chipping at the top and bottom of the spine and a very small (1/8") tear at the back cover at the head of the spine. A very nice copy for the World War II buff or anyone interested in Military history.
