Paris: Lehuby, 1842. 238p., presswork in handsome largepoint type and illustrated with monochrome lithography (or tint-block) overprinted with steel-engraved [?] pictures of children and adults, a dozen or so, fullpage and all in good shape. Lovely stuff a kid could actually like. Small hardcover in marbled boards with tooled red leather spine, 7.5x4.5 inches, marbled endpapers (different pattern), minor rubbing to corners otherwise very good. Tenth edition of this collection of children's stories.
