New York: Atheneum, 1982. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Volume itself has blue cloth covers with sharp gilt lettering on the spine. The top of the pages is dyed pink. 296 pages with a foreword and eleven chapters with sources and acknowledgments. On the ffep a prior owner name has been blackened out. Rest of interior of book is clean & tight. No underlining, no highlighting, no bookplates, no remainder marks, not ex-libris, no folded or dogeared pages, no foxing, no smudges. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality Brodart cover. The front dust flap has a crease at the top inside of about an inch and half. Still a quite presentable and serviceable copy; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box!
