About This Item
Tokyo Genral Headquarters Suprem, 1951-01-01. Paperback. Good. in x in x in. Stapled mimeographed self wrappers. Sunning to back cover edges. Previous owner name stamped on front cover. Previous owner was Daniel B. Luten (1908-2003), lecturer in geography at University of California, Berkeley from 1962 to 1974. Luten sustained the links between the Berkeley campus and the West Coast environmental movement that date back more than a century, to when Joseph LeConte was instrumental in the startup of both the University of California and the Sierra Club. When he served on the Club's Board of Directors, Luten argued that conservationists, until then primarily concerned with wildland preservation, needed also to grapple with population issues.
