Victor Madej (1948-) was born in Munich to Polish parents who immigrated to NYC in 1950, where he completed Brooklyn Tech HS and started its Debate Club. After West Point (BS, 1970) he volunteered for infantry, airborne, ranger, Vietnam, to serve there leading rifle platoons (101AbnD '71, 196LtB '72). He then qualified as a Green Beret (5SFG).
