New York: Frederick A. Stokes Co., 1912. Book. Very Good+. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover, green cloth lettered in gold. 259 pages. Light blue pictorial end-papers. Illustrated with 12 tipped in collotype plates [mounted on heavy black stock with printed captions]; 16 full page engravings [after G. Bigot] and 37 duo tones. No publishing date given, with copyright page blank indication first printing. This would be the American edition, published the same year (1912) as the British edition. No previous ownership marks. Upper corner of page 255/56 clipped, not affecting text. A clean, tight, otherwise unmarked copy. Very good+. .
