Pages sl toned, else very good. **Large armorial prep school bookplates on front pastedowns.** Half-tone plates (some in sepia). Large folding map in rear Vol 2. Contemporary red oil skin (cloth) djs; edge worn, spines soiled and faded, panels lightly soil-smudged. These durable djs saved the book covers and gilt designs. Cultural life of Japan. . First American Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
