Covers with gilt lettering on the spine and blind are rubbed and faded on spine and front lower corner, some wear to cloth at spine-ends, corners, and lower front edge, light rippling of covers on front and rear pages, paper over internal hinges is split but covers are still attached,internal binding is sound, first two pages and last page have vertical creases, also a tear on the first page which is darkened and a small area of loss on corner of rear page, otherwise clean pages.
