Hardcover, dark green bind-stamped cloth lettered in silver on spine, housed in original pictorial slipcase. 343 pages. Fabric place marker bound in. Illustrated with 44 steel engravings by F.O.C. Darley. Limited edition, privately printed by Westvaco as a Christmas gift, 1986. Signed presentation card from publisher laid-in loose, with two signatures, unidentified. A selection of short excerpts and chapters from Cooper's writings. No previous ownership marks. Book is pristine, like new. Slipcase is clean and solid with no splits or marking. Fine in a fine slipcase. .
