Original white dust-jacket protected by mylar covers. No previous ownership marks. This is the first printing of the Library Association re-issue of the title, first published by Geoffrey Bles in 1938. The Bles title page is utilized for this reprint edition. An exceedingly scarce, scholarly biography of the Duke of Monmouth, and an important contributuon the to rehabilitaion of his reputuation as soley a frivolus young man. White dust-jacket overall is quite clean, if not pristine, and book is clean, tightly bound and contains no writing or highlighting. A near fine copy in a near fine dust-jacket.. Second Edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
