About This Item

Pyramid, 1975. Paperback. Very Good. UNCOMMON 1975 paperback. UNREAD COPY with tight, sqaure text block, unmarked pages, and smooth flat spine, Paper cover remains clean and bright with sharp corners, shows minimal edge wear. Bottom page edges show a very faint, isolated dampstain with no rippling and no actual effect on the interior pages at all. This is NOT an ex-library copy. Truly a lovely copy overall and very presentable. "Is there are real James Bond? The fantastic answer is YES! And he's still alive! With the full cooperation of the British Secret Service and James Bond himself, the incredible story is told at last. Meet the real James Bond in an amazing series of adventures and situations only hinted at in the best-selling novels: 007's unusual childhood; the night he lost his wallet and his virginity in Paris -- and found his first love; his first assignment at seventeen to save the bank at Monte Carlo; the bizarre affair in which he first killed a man; the sensational scandal that brought him dismissal and almost ended his career; unrecorded episodes of murder and betrayal in his deadly war with SMERSH; erotic encounters at home and abroad; the astounding facts behind his greatest fictional exploits. It's a supercharged James Bond saga as thrilling as any of Ian Fleming's best-selling novels!

Synopsis

James Bond 007 is a fictional character created in 1953 by writer Ian Fleming, who featured him in twelve novels and two short story collections. The character has also been used in the longest running and most financially successful English-language film franchise to date, starting in 1962 with Dr. No. After Fleming's death in 1964, subsequent James Bond novels were written by Kingsley Amis, John Gardner, Raymond Benson and Sebastian Faulks.
