About This Item

Paperback / softback. New. WITH INTRODUCTIONS BY LAWRENCE NORFOLK AND ELISABETH BRONFEN Jacob's Room is Virginia Woolf's first truly experimental novel. It is a portrait of a young man, tracing his life from childhood, to Cambridge University, and to his early adult life in artistic London.

Synopsis

Jacob's Room is the third novel written by Virginia Woolf. It was published  on 26 October 1922 by Hogarth Press. The novel centers around the life of Jacob Flanders, but indirectly. More of a character study than a story, Jacob is viewed through the eyes of other characters.
