Milne & Hutchison, Aberdeen,, 1930. 8vo., First Edition, with a portrait frontispiece in photogravure (original tissue guard present), title in red and black, and 7 plates in photogravure (all original tissue guards present); original blue ribbed cloth, crest blocked in gilt on upper board, gilt back, a very good, bright, clean copy. Provides 'reliable information on the campaign which preceded Culloden in 1746 by the commander of a volunteer regiment of cavalry' (Pargellis & Medley). This copy was formerly in the library of William Lumsden Walker (1919-2005), formerly Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Royal Hospital for Sick Children and Southmead Hospital, Bristol, and bears his signature on front free endpaper.
