Includes two of his grandest projects, in Hartford, Connecticut -- Bushnell Park and Cedar Hill Cemetery -- along with the Grand Stair Plaza at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines, and numerous others. Also covers his relationship with Frederick Law Olmsted, the architect of Central Park in New York City.
