About This Item
The Museum of Modern Art, New York / Simon and Schuster, 1956. Softcover. VG. Stapled wraps. 36 pp. 1 color, 24 bw repros. This entire museum periodical issue is devoted to American artist Jackson Pollock. With an essay by Sam Hunter. The checklist cites 44 pieces, and more than 20 are pictured here. Includes a bibliography. This seems to be a variant of other copies I have seen, with the cover containing a full image of the famous Pollock motion image of him leaning over the work on the floor, captured by Hans Namuth.
