Clean blue cloth-covered boards with light blue lettering on cover and spine. Very small spot of wear to one lower corner tip. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Illustrated endpapers - no names, writing or bookplates. Pages are clean. Nicely illustrated with eight full-page color plates by Edna Cooke. 426 pages. Clean dust jacket is price clipped at upper corner of front inside flap, has edge wear and short closed edge tears, one small v-shaped chip at corner base of front panel; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. Wonderful old favorites to share with children. Collection includes stories such as: Mary's Meadow, The Peace Egg, Daddy Darwin's Dovecote, Old Father Christmas, Dandelion Clocks and many more..
