Hardcover, bound in blue cloth titled in gilt & silver on the spine with vignettes in silver on the front cover. The slightly warped covers are bumped and the spine & inner edges of the covers are faded. A couple of the cloth's threads are slightly pulled at the bottom corner of the front cover. 26 pages [consisting of the preliminary leaves & the text], followed by profuse illustrations from paintings & drawings by Jack Levine, including 1 full-page color illustration, full-page black & white illustrations, & numerous tipped-in plates in black & white and color, the black & white plates being tipped in on color stock. Lacking the dust jacket. Very good.
First edition.
