Variations on the popular nursery rhyme had it been written by other authors - such as Alfred Tennyson, Walt Whitman, Thomas Hood in two languages, etc., illustrated in black and white. Blue and white cloth lettered in gilt, all edges gilt, 110 pages. Covers have edgewear, corners especially rubbed, shelf soil, light fraying to spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with a gift notation dated 1891 on the preliminary blank, no other markings.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
