Inscribed and Signed on ffep by the author "To Roscoe Drummond / With best Wishes, / Victor Lasky" A hard-hitting examination of the political background and performance of John Kennedy, written before his assassination. The author contends that Kennedy had a "real and incurable incompetence in public affairs." Roscoe Drummond (1902–1983) was a 20th-century American political journalist, editor, and syndicated Washington columnist, known for his long association with The Christian Science Monitor and 50-year syndicated column "State of the Nation", serving as director of information for the Marshall Plan, and co-founding Freedom House. .

At The Antiquarian Book Shop, located in Georgetown - an historic neighborhood of Washington, D.C. we have been buying, selling & appraising rare, interesting and scholarly books in Georgetown for more than 30 years.
