Knopf, 1952, 1952. F. Hardcover. Dust Jacket Included. Very Good/Very Good. FIRST EDITION HARDCOVER w/DJ. The 4th book in Macdonald's Lew Archer Series. The copyright page reads "FIRST EDITION". Some wear at the top and bottom of the spine and book edges, some tiny spotting on the front and back free end papers. DJ: a ¾ by ½ inch piece missing at the top left of the rear flap; at the front and rear flap inside, there is a faded tape mark as well as at bottom of the inside spine of the DJ. Some wear at the spine and some edges of DJ.
