Oxford: Clarendon, 1880. hardcover. very good(+). 7 volumes. Frontispieces, 2 in color, numerous illustrations in black & white and colored maps, many folding. Tall 8vo, 3/4 black polished calf over blue cloth, decoratively gilt and blind-stamped spines, top edges gilt, a few spines lightly chipped. Scattered foxing mainly on the fly leaves. London: Clarendon Press, 1880-1899. A very good(+) beautiful set.<br/> <br/> Early bookplates.<br/> <br/>
