Endpapers and pages printed on fine, high quality paper stock. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED TO A FAN AND DATED BY THE AUTHOR [April 1952] on the first free endpaper. Condition of hardcover: Small faint soiling to extremity of page 26, light age toning, mostly to edges (top edge has age toning/dust); else overall Very Good Plus. Dustjacket: Shelf wear/chips (pieces missing from top/foot of spine panel), spine panel sunned, light age toning, overall Good. Protected in Mylar cover. A delightful book of poems by Mrs. West, a North Carolinian by birth, but has lived in Atlanta for years. According to the editor, the author's work are the qualities which characterize true poetic insight and expression. At times these rise to the level of an imaginative grasp of life's finer factors, and at other times embody the simple experiences and emotions shared by all. The lover of the sublime will catch glimpses of inspiring impulses. Very uncommon, collectible book. Note: We are a well-established, well-respected, ethical book dealer in business since 1991. We describe the condition of our books thoroughly and honestly, so you'll know exactly what you will be receiving when you order. We ship promptly.. Inscribed and Signed By the Author. First Edition. About R. Siedlecki Vintage Books

We are a well-established, well-respected dealer that is professional, honest, and ethical in our business dealings. We tend to describe each book in a reserved, conservative manner, rather than oversell a book or sidestep the responsibility of addressing its flaws. Book club editions and library books along with books without dustjackets (if they came with dustjackets) are pointed out in our descriptions. We describe our books in detail, pointing out the precise condition of each book based on our opinion. It's your assurance that the book we describe is as close as possible to the book you’ll receive. In business since 1991, we typically have five-star ratings on major web sites.
