London, T. Nelson & Sons, n.d. ca1891. Small hardback, Oblong, 6 x 4 inches. Blue cloth with beveled edges, colour plate to front board, with maroon decoration and gilt lettering to front. Pale yellow endpapers. In very good condition. Some minor rubbing to corners, a couple of minor handling marks to boards else cover clean and smart. Some slight rubbing to plate on front else clean and bright. Neat pencil inscription to endpaper “J.c. George, August ‘91.” Advertisement plate pasted to front free endpaper “Belmont House School, Jersey.” Some neat dates in pencil to a couple of margins by text, also to corner of a couple of plates. A couple of minor handling marks else pages and plates all very clean, bright and tight throughout. A lovely little copy. 48pp. Illustrated with 25 full page colour chromolithograph plates (including frontis and plate to front). With smaller B&W illustrations and 2 maps in text.
