London: Bell and Daldy, 1868. Miniature books. Green boards, trim and lettering on spine gold, edges red, a total of 457 numbered pages. Material on front and back rippled, rubbed and mildly chipped at ends of spine, corners lightly rubbed and bowed. Volume I: closed 1 inch tear on ffep near hinge and tip of upper corner folded over. Fly title page pulled away 2 inches at hinge, but binding firm. Pages clean throughout. Volume II: faint smudge on fore edge, cracked at page 336 but binding firm, 3 pages dog-eared else clean throughout. Overall, volumes very good. . Hard Cover. Very Good/No DJ. 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall.
