NY: Longmans, Green & Co.; (1947). 1st. edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Third printing of the US edition, very good in a very good dust jacket. Dark green cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. Owner name, date, and place on front endpaper; a few pencil notes on rear endpaper. One of the full page illustrations was miscut by the binder, and extends slightly beyond the page edges. The price clipped jacket has just a little edgewear. "Specially illustrated by Paul Henry"; 308 pages.
