About This Item
New York: Donley, 1936. Second Edition, Unstated . Printed Gray Boards. Very Good/No Jacket. 7 7/8" Tall. By the Patent Editor of MODERN MECHANIX and INVENTIONS, friend of great inventors (Edison, De Forest, Steinmetz), and author of 1,500 NEEDED INVENTIONS (1936). The book contains recommendations, some quite level-headed, for obtaining patents and marketing inventions. Chapter headings include: Finding the Right Manufacturer; How to Price Inventions (where the distinction is drawn between patent life and economic life); and Foreign Patents. Sixteen chapters, 211 pages, with Introduction to the Author, and about 70 pages given to a Directory of Buyers. Covers grimed and slightly sunned, otherwise sound; text is strong and clean, though browning at edges.
