Eight volumes complete - Volume One - xxvii, [1], 519pp, [1]; Volume Two - xx, 533pp, [3]; Volume Three - xxviii, [2], 507pp, [1]; Volume Four - xx, 427pp, [1]; Volume Five - xxxiv, 513pp, [1]; Volume Six - xviii, 482pp; Volume Seven - xxv, [1], 375pp, [1] and Volume Eight - xxiv, 383pp, [1]. Rebound in uniform slightly later half morocco and cloth, raised bands, spines in six panes, title in gilt to second panel, author / volume to third, with date in gilt to foot of spine, t.e.g., marbled endpapers. Externally a spot of discolouring to the upper cover of volume five, otherwise bright and clean. Internally the front inner hinge of volume one is slightly cracked but holding, with associated crinkling to title page, otherwise bright and clean. With sixty-three maps and plans as called for. An attractive set. Third Edition. Half Morocco and Cloth. Very Good. 8vo.
