Octavo, 247pp. Black cloth, title stamped in gilt on spine, with blue initials. Stated "first printing" on copyright page. Top edge light blue, small stains to front and rear endpapers, clean text throughout. Previous ownership bookplate on front pastedown endpaper. In the publisher's first state dust jacket, $3.00 on front flap, a near fine copy, faint wear to verso along top edge, light rubbing to tips of spine, overall a bright example.
