(11.25" x 15.5"). 62 pages, with Appendices; plus 34 hand colored plates in second volume. Original publisher's announcement bound in rear of both volumes. This scarce work depicts Christian art in the third century Rome. Some external wear and rubbing to both volumes; internally foxing to prelims, plates remain clean and bright. Size: Folio. First Edition.. Leather. Very Good.
