The First UK printing published by Methuen 1953. The BOOK is in Very Good++ condition. Light pushing and fading tot he spine ends. Mild rubbing to the lower corners. A hint of toning to the text-block. Free from inscriptions and erasures. The scarce WRAPPER is price-clipped and is in Very Good+ condition. Mild edge wear with a little more rubbing, creasing and nicks to the spine ends. A 3cm closed tear to the upper front flap fold and a 2 cm closed tear to the upper edge. The spine colouring remains bright. The John Minton designed wrapper artwork remains bright in the removable Brodart archival cover. Scarce. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
