New York: John Lane Co., 1916. No. 233. Original paper wraps. Staple-bound. The International Studio was the premiere art magazine from its inception in 1897 to its demise in the 1940s, featuring the finest in illustration, painting, pen & ink, book illustration and more. Among the featured articles: "Mr. Arthur Wardle's Pastel Paintings", "The Black And White Work Of F. H. Townsend", "Recent Sculpture of Daniel Chester French","The Paintings of Helen Watson Phelps". Internally clean. Pages are clean (no writting, underlining, highlighting) but yellowing with age. Binding is tight. All plates are present as well as protective tissue paper for frontispiece. Issue has minor warping (not caused by moisture). Wraps are scuffed/soiled. 1" tear on upper wrap but it does not affect the binding. Cover is still attached but worn at outer edges with several closed tears. Nice copy of this rare publication. . Staple-bound. Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Magazine.

We accept Visa, MC, AMEX, and checks in USD only. Payment is due in full before shipment. Shipping cost: $5.50 media mail in the continental U.S.A. for 2 books or less. After that, $.50 for each additional book. Priority mail is based on size and weight of book. Cost starts at 10.00 but will be adjusted for smaller books that fit into Priority Mail boxes and envelopes. Oversized and/or heavy books may cost more. UPS/RPS or Fedex available at additional cost upon request. All shipments to Mexico or Canada over four (4) pounds is subject to rate increase. Returns will be accepted on a limited basis. If any item arrives and is not in the condition described on Biblio, or is not the edition listed on the website, we will refund both the item and shipping both ways - upon receipt of the return package. Otherwise, our used book sales are final.
