Heavy tanning to pages with heavier tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Slight dog-eared pages throughout and visible tanning to text block edges. Both hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Boards have visible ink marks, rubbing and edge wear. Moderate bumping to corners and fair crushing to spine ends. Heavier tanning to spine.

Smaller book, brown cloth with dark red lettering and design on front, two light stains at top on front and light smudge at bottom front and top back left, 158 lightly browned pages, creases to bottom of pages 140-144. Spine very slightly askew, light wear at spine edges. Near Good.

Faber and Faber Limited, 1941. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Good. Publication of 158 pages. The dust jacket is a little shelf rubbed, edge worn, marked and scuffed in places. The spine is a little discolored. There is sporadic foxing on the early pages, and slightly around the block of the book, but very little in the body of the book, there are other minor age related marks.
