Good; bound in contemporary leather with surface scratches to covers, wear to spine edges and corners; bindings tight except as noted below for some plates; text blocks age-toned; liquid stains, age-toning and foxing to pages in both volumes, some offsetting of plates; first page of text (18-19) is torn at lower corner, slightly impacting text; 19 plates present and intact as described in Vol. 1, though plates 10 and 11 are somewhat loose from binding; 11 plates present and intact as described in Vol. 2, including skipping over from Plate 5 to Plate 7; MF consignment. 1357716.
