Boston: Printed by Joseph W. Ingraham, 1821. Octavo. 24pp., uncut and unopened, as issued. Original printed wrappers. Overall, very good.
Inscribed and signed by Samuel Farmar Jarvis (1786-1851), Yale graduate, bibliophile, noted historian of the Episcopal Church and consecrated bishop. Jarvis later became embroiled in one of the most scandalous divorce cases in nineteenth-century America. [Sold with:] A second copy of the same title, but in variant pale orange printed wrappers; this copy in good-only condition.
