About This Item

New York:: Harper & Brothers,, [1917].. First edition.. publisher's gray gilt-lettered cloth in dust jacket.. Tiny tape stains to free endpapers front and rear; else a bright, unworn, near fine copy. There is a 2 x 1/4" scoop out of the top of the front panel of the dust jacket (not affecting any lettering) and some light wear to the top of the backstrip (also not affecting any lettering). There is evidence of the removal of some tape on the verso of the jacket in those two areas and a few neat archival mends. The jacket is otherwise bright and attractive. . 8vo,.
