First published in 1922, this is an early 1930s UK edition of Alice Bailey's first work.Alice Ann Bailey was a Theosophist and a writer of more than twenty-four books on theosophical subjects, remembered as one of the first writers to use the term 'New Age'. Her writings bore some similarity to those of Madame Blavatsky and are among the teachings often referred to as "Ageless Wisdom". This work, arranged in nineteen chapters, is intended for those interested in 'initiation', a concept of human evolution in Theosophy and the teachings of Alice Bailey, which state that there are five major and several minor steps of spiritual development.Chapters discuss the probationary path, the lodge of masters, the work of the hierarchy, and the seven paths.
