Dull green coloured cloth boards with illustration of two men on the front cover in a darker green and dark green titles to the front panel and backstrip. This book is definitely showing its age. Bumping, rubbing and a little fraying of the backstrip edges and of the book corners. The spine is cocked. Heavy wear to the book edges and to either side of the spine. Rubbing, fading and very heavy marking to the book panels. Browning and foxing to the text block edge. There is a stain, ? water, to the lower text block edge and a third of the way up the front fore text block edge. This staining has also impinged upon the front and rear edges of the book panels. Browning and generalised marking to the endpapers and browning to the internal text. Previous owner's name to the top left-hand corner of the front paste-down.  Page 31/32 has become somewhat dog eared to the top right-hand corner of the page. Jeeves! That inimitable manservant saving Bertie from all sorts of unwanted attentions and situations.
