An illustrated work in the publisher's original cloth binding with blind-stamping and gilt detailing to the front board. Ink inscription to the half title page, dated 1868. A very smart volume of the monthly publication The Infant's Magazine; twelve issues at one penny each for the year 1868. This charming periodical contains poems, Christian messages, and facts about animals and places for the young. Compiled by the editors of The Children's Friend magazine and illustrated throughout. 6 pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just a small bump to the upper extremity of the rear board. Gilt remains bright. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean. A few of the illustrations have been neatly coloured in. A small hole to page 141. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
