About This Item
Frankfurt A.M., Germany: Rutten & Loening , 1920. This is a very good hardcover copy in pale pink and cream marbled paper-covered boards, and a richly tooled and gilt brown leather spine, with some wear to the boards and abrasions to the edges of the spine. The inside of the book is generally clean, though a little foxing here and there, and a small bookplate to the inside front cover. Text in German. There are 12 original etchings on a heavy soft paper, by Kaete Wilcynski, depicting Indian life. Some foxing to the tissue guards and occasionally to the etchings. The elaborate spine decoration is intact. 9" high X 7" wide, 256 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.. Half-Leather. Very Good.
