About This Item
Calcutta : The Star Press, 1846. Book. Illus. by 3 full page fish plates. Fair. 3/4 Leather. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. A quarterly magazine that existed from 1845 to 1851, This is the June 1846 issue only, pages 99 to 371. It includes an article on Lake and Tank Fishing in Bengal, with 3 full page plates of fish. Clean and tight inside, but the calf spine and corners are worn, with pieces of the spine about to detach. Appears to be the original ornate Victorian style cloth boards. A bargain because of the need for spine repairs. .
