The University Society. Fair. 1901. Hardcover. Copyright 1887 (Appleton) , but publishing date is more likely 1901, with rest of set. One-half red leather over red cloth boards. Water damage, so that pages are wrinkled and endpages have taken some dye from cover. Binding is a little loose but holding. Pages are unmarked, and color frontispiece plate is okay. Cover is stained, with cloth separating from boards at seam with leather in front. ; The Booklovers' Edition .
