Octavo, priority unknown here, pp. vii, 259, orange cloth boards with black stamped lettering to spine and front, halftone illustration, former owner's ID stickers on front paste-down. Six traditional Chinese stories translated into English by E.B. Howell. See Richard John Lynn's Chinese Literature, p. 62. Condition of this book: Minor spine slant, spine yellowed, faint staining to back cover, foxed preliminaries, inside clean. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Edges very slightly spotted or marked.
