"An Illustrated History of the HASTY PUDDING CLUB Theatricals" by Lloyd McKim Garrison. 1st edition; Hasty Pudding Club; Cambridge. The book is richly illustrated with photographs and facsimile documents throughout. Gilt top page edges. With an Introduction by J.T. Wheelwright. "The Hasty Pudding Club Theatricals" is the oldest theatrical organization in the United States. Oversized - the book measures 12 1/4" tall x 9 1/2" wide.
Condition:
Soiling/staining to the covers. Some mottling of the cloth - these are patches where the red cloth color has faded (these areas are not stains). Sharp cover corners. Tiny cloth tears at the top and bottom edges of the spine. Bright gilt top page edges. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. There is a 1" tear to the paper at the bottom of the hinge between the front end paper and pastedown. Nice interior - the pages are mostly clean with only an occasional light smudge. A slip of paper with a previous owner's name has been affixed to the front pastedown. Overall the book is in Good condition.
