Bound in bevelled edge blue cloth with 3 col.playing cards in each front corner and central monogram, black spine lettering and borders, spine ends a little rubbed, generally clean and attractive; viii+72, numerous un-numbered ex-pagination coloured plates throughout illustrating game lay-outs, all text-block edges red; bottom outer corner tips of first 2 leaves blackened, offset somehow from black end-papers, hint of edge tanning throughout. 19 cm x 24 cm 'Authoress' explains that most of the games are German in origin.
