Illustrator: Various. 800 g; 192 pages, notes on the illustrations, glossary/index, illustrated with black-and-white, and colour illustrations; colour illustrated dustwrapper. The previous owner has used tape to repair a 0.5 inch tear at the top right of the front panel, a 0.75 inch tear at the bottom left of the spine and a 3.0 inch tear at the bottom left of the rear panel. Now protected. Spenser's classic of romance, chivalry and folklore, abridged, but augmented with wonderful drawings and paintings from the Elizabethan period. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
