Hardback book bound in brown simulated leather-covered boards with color paste-on illustration of a pistol on the front with gilt titles in a similar slipcase. No defects to note on the book. The slipcase has very light wear. End pages are illustrated with scene of an International Shooting Competition between America and Ireland in 1875. Book contains photos and line drawings of both military and civilian firearms from their beginning to present day 1980s. 320 pages..
