Publisher's full dark green morocco, front cover with gilt fillet border and gilt lettering, wide gilt turn-ins, brown watered silk doublures and endpapers. original slipcase. Some rubbing to spine and joints but overall a very attractive copy.A famous art sale in the early 20th century, beautifully presented in this limited edition. Includes such artists as Eugene Fromentin, Jean Baptiste Camille Corot, Charles Francois Daubigny, Alexandre Gabriel Decamps, Ferdinand Victor Eugene Delacroix, Narcisse Virgile Diaz De La Pena, Jules Dupre, Jean Louis Andre Theodore Gericault, Jean Francois Millet, Theodore Rousseau, and Constant Troyon and others.
